Today is national day.On December 2, 1949, the Central People's Government adopted the Resolution on the National Day of the People's Republic of China, which stipulates that October 1 is the National Day of the People's Republic of China every year and takes that day as the date of proclamation of the founding of the People's Republic of China. From 1950 onwards, every year in October 1st, the Chinese people of all ethnic groups celebrated the festival.
